“ We are locals and wanted some great Hibachi and trusted the reviews plus didn't want to pay tourist prices. I took pictures for most recent menu prices. The place was clean and crowded for a Friday (which was a good sign). Made reservations and sat immediately. Our neighbor ordered sushi and it looked beautiful with great large pieces of sashimi. Very fresh! We ordered the hibachi shrimp, steak and scallops, and steak and shrimp. Cooked to perfection! Kenny was extremely entertaining and great chef! We didn't care for the miso soup appetizer, it was like warm and was more like water with floating onions. The salad was good with the ginger dressing, but small. The shrimp appetizer served with the meal only had two shrimp. A little surprising. It was a good portion of rice and steak and only 4 scallops. We think the serving sizes were not as large as some of the reviews mentioned. For the price, it was a good meal and we would return. ”

“ Really enjoyed the food. Nice presentation. My husband ordered 4 sushi rolls (spicy tuna, yellow tail, crazy roll and a veggie roll). He said 3 rolls would've been enough but it was all good. I had a spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, side house salad and ordered veggie fried rice knowing I would take some home. When the waitress asked if I wanted any sauce like YumYum sauce I said "yes please". Either she made an assumption from my enthusiasm about wanting the sauce or made an assumption based on my heavy (but not excessively obese) physical size (or both), but I was a bit ashamed that she brought me a literal VAT of YumYum sauce (like 2,000+ calories/200+ grams of fat worth -- cup and a half at least -- the stuff is 90% oil). I may have used 2-3 Tbs total from "the vat" on what I ate and what I planned to take home. I asked for a to-go box for 3/4 of my rice and she wanted to know if I wanted to take the sauce with me. I thought, "no I think you've fat shamed me enough" by assuming I would eat a days worth of calories and a weeks worth of recommended fat in just YumYum sauce in on sitting. I would go again but hope I don't get the same waitress. The hot tea was not my favorite flavor and also dropped all over the table as we filled/refilled our cups and the waitress paid no attention to that as it was dripping off the edge of the table. Also the teapot could've been cleaner looking. ”

“ We grabbed dinner with some friends here in the evening. They have a large menu selection and a nice ambiance and was a nice casual place to grab dinner that also had a beautiful bar and night out like feeling. We had hibachis sushi and edamame all of which were good I especially love the hibachis just because you get a variety of food plus soup and salad. The food was flavorful and didn't taste doused in oil which a lot of hibachis end up tasting like. ”
